This is a short but poignant video excerpt of Bono’s speech at Georgetown University. This video excerpt also appears in Dinesh D’Souza’s excellent docu-movie “America – Imagine the World Without Her.”
I highly and extremely recommend everyone to experience D’Souza’s current excellent number-one docu-movie called “Hillary’s America – The Secret History of the Democrat Party.” If you have not seen it yet, you need to see it especially before election day, see it with a friend or family. It is available for streaming on many platforms and available in Blu-Ray or DVD. http://hillarysamericathemovie.com/
But I also recommend “America – Imagine the World Without Her” http://americathemovie.com/ which came out two years ago, but is truly timeless, and for that matter also “Obama’s America” which came out in 2012 http://www.dineshdsouza.com/movies/2016-obamas-america/ . “Obama’s America” caused Obama to basically have a little temper tantrum and, with the backing of the US Government go after Dinesh and had him locked up, literally. You can learn more about this when you see “Hillary’s America.”
But I really want to talk about “America – Imagine the World Without Her.” D’Souza correctly shows in this movie how before the founding fathers put the idea of America on paper, really, basically the only system that the world knew was that of the conquest ethic, meaning the strong conquer the weak and then take what they have, without remorse. This is so profound and people really need to have a history lesson and wrap their brains around this. Many left-leaning idealists will argue that America was also founded under this conquest ethic, though this may be somewhat true but these same lefties like to revise the narrative of history and ignore facts. They choose to ignore the very good things about the founding of America and ignore the fact that America was the only entity or country “…the first to claw its way out of darkness and put that on paper” (–Bono [see video above]), the first to challenge the class system and the caste system and the monarchy, or an oligarchy or dictatorship or the first to challenge fiefdom. The first to challenge all these archaic systems in favor of the new American idea of liberty and having a small government of the people, for the people and by the people allowing everyone to choose their own destiny through a capitalistic free society.
It seems like every election season, especially during a presidential election season that many Americans seem to lose sight of the bigger picture and get mired in silly trivial details. Many seem to be going through the motions as if we were picking a winner such as in American Idol, or Dancing with The Stars. Why do so many seem to have the mindset that we are choosing a kind of king or queen or dictator. They lose sight of the American idea the way our government is set up. If I have cancer I am not putting all my efforts into choosing an oncologist I am doing whatever I can to choose to destroy my cancer, choosing a competent oncologist may be a part of that, but by no means is it the endgame. The endgame is to alleviate or destroy the cancer. We should be choosing leaders who will do everything within their power to uphold what the Founding Fathers have set up, the Constitution of the United States, and to destroy the cancer or the thought of doing anything different. I have always thought of leftist ideas as sort of a cancer attacking the American idea that must be destroyed and defeated in the arena of ideas.
It always seems that during a presidential election we are choosing either a Republican, someone who wishes to conserve the founding father’s vision or we are choosing a Democrat someone who would rather transform America into something different but in reality the Democrats always are choosing to go back to one of the archaic systems mentioned above except give it a new name or a new twist. By any means the lefties or the Democrats are always trying to hide their true intentions that of changing the way America is governed with an always ever-expanding, oligarchical federal government.
Leftists are very creative in the way they hide their process but mostly they hide it by trying to change the narratives to create an anti-american sentiment. Dinesh D’Souza in his film “America – Imagine the World Without Her” shows us how the left changes the stories and actually creates five very serious indictments against America. These indictments come from revered left thinkers such as Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn or Ward Churchill. In fact as D’Souza points out Howard Zinn’s book, A People’s History of the United States, even though it is not a true History book is required reading on many campuses of colleges and universities and even some high schools. D’Souza does a very good job at detailing these serious indictments right before he shows how these narratives of Chomsky, Zinn and Ward Churchill are actually false narratives, and therefore these indictments are invalid
Anyways as I stated earlier I highly recommend that you see “America – Imagine the World Without Her” and see for yourself these invalid indictments that many take as gospel truth and also see for yourself that the world is actually a much better place now that the idea of America has been introduced to the world some 250 years ago.
Don’t forget to vote on November 8 but before you vote see D’Souza’s latest, “Hillary’s America – The Secret History of the Democrat Party” especially if you are considering actually voting for Hillary. After seeing “Hillary’s America” don’t be surprised if you find yourself like me never willing to support a member of the Democrat Party ever again.
Cannes: Video of Hollywood Environmentalists in Anti-Fracking Sting Operation to Debut (Exclusive Video)
More ASTOUNDING BLATANT HYPOCRISY among environmentalists and the Hollywood left #StrangerThanFiction George Orwell would be proud to write this story except its REAL. Where is the outrage?
James O’Keefe says he duped Ed Begley Jr. and Mariel Hemingway into agreeing to get involved with an anti-fracking movie while hiding that its funding comes from Middle Eastern oil interests.
Journalist James O’Keefe, known for his controversial undercover sting operations aimed usually at liberals — is set to unveil at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday the first of a group of videos that he says will reveal hypocrisy among Hollywood environmentalists.
In the video, obtained exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter and embedded below, actors Ed Begley Jr. and Mariel Hemingway are duped by a man named “Muhammad,” who is looking to make an anti-fracking movie while hiding that its funding is coming from Middle Eastern oil interests.
Muhammad, accompanied by a man pretending to be an ad executive, seemingly has the two actors agreeing to participate in the scheme, even after he acknowledges…

This is really poignant interview that occurred decades ago but today we seem to be losing the wisdom here of Milton Friedman or of the founding fathers for that matter… Originally posted on TheBlaze.com on Tuesday, Jan 14, 2014 at 1:19 PM CST
On radio this morning, Glenn played a portion of a 1979 interview between Phil Donahue and Milton Friedman, in which Friedman offered a very well-articulated argument in favor of minimizing the role of government in a free market system as a means of creating political and social freedom. It is Friedman’s eloquent delivery of what could be considered a complex theme that Glenn was most concerned with.
“[We have to be] more than alert and knowledgeable,” Glenn said. “We have to be able to explain to our fellow citizens what raises our eyebrows, what makes us even more alert, and what we have found in our knowledge… Milton Friedman did a great segment on the Donohue show years ago on greed. Listen to what he said.”
Watch Friedman and Donahue debate the power of greed:
“That is a beat-down of everything that’s being said right now,” Glenn said. “[But] nobody is articulating it that way. He asks the question: Where in the world does greed not rule?”
What makes Friedman’s delivery so unique is his ability to discuss harsh realities, while holding fast to his principles. Considering the lack of honesty in our world today, Glenn questioned why Friedman is often characterized as a villain.
“Nobody is talking about real world stuff. Nobody is saying the truths that need to be spoken. He spoke truth,” Glenn concluded. “It was clear. It wasn’t about politics. It was about basic principles. Milton Friedman should be the most popular guy on every campus because this guy is talking truth…”
This video, Wealth Inequality in America is painful to watch because it makes me realize that the thinking behind it is far too prevalent in our society today. Also equally painful is that many who come across it and see these ideas perhaps for the first time are probably going to buy into it, and actually believe that we should adopt a socialist form of government. Very sad.
I disagree with the whole premise of this video. This study assumes a false premise that all of America’s wealth is nothing but a huge horde of cash, a huge pile of wealth that everyone is sitting on and that this pile of wealth is distributed very unequally, therefore we should all adopt socialism so that this pile of wealth will be distributed equitably. Wonderful socialism that includes, in the name of fairness and angelic, pure intentions; so therefore we are going to break into private homes and businesses and seize parts of their giant horde of the people that are in the upper 20% and then help distribute it among the lower classes, and then your benevolent government will only skim a portion of these seizures to pay for expenses of course (and maybe just a little more…wink, wink)–but I digress. The socialist people that created this video wrongly believe that economics is a zero sum game; that if one American or group of Americans succeed in acquiring more wealth that means that someone else or some other group of Americans are losing their wealth. But this line of thinking is truly a foolish way to think about how economic distribution works.
If you take for example the “Parable of the Bags of Gold” (or the “Parable of the Talents” but the NIV says “Bags of Gold”). Read Matt 25:14-30. http://www.bible.com/bible/111/mat.25.14-30.niv (click on a blank area on the side of that web page) This study in this video above assumes that every person in America acts like that third servant and just buries and sits on what they have and that therefore the upper 20% or upper 1% acquired their horde unjustly. But this study does not take into account how economics truly works or how free enterprise or the capitalist system works. America’s wealth hinges on the actions of the 1st and 2nd servants in the parable. America’s wealth is dynamic and in a constant state of flux through investments and the buying and selling of goods and services and especially through creativity and the innovations that constantly improve those goods and services. The constant drive to make a better mousetrap so to speak. Steve Jobs used to say, regarding his and Apple’s constant creativity and innovations, “A lot of times, people don’t know what they want until you show it to them.”
But if you try and equal things out as the makers of the video suggest, if you try and apply socialism even in just little bits, history has shown many times that that takes away the drive to make a better mousetrap, it takes away innovation and creativity and therefore it also ultimately takes away the wealth. The very thing that you wanted to distribute equally in the first place. If a socialist system is adopted it puts everyone in equal misery and equal poverty and we will not only lose the upper 20% or upper 1% but instead we will create a small fraction of a fraction of 1% that will end up as the ruling class and the only ones that have any kind of wealth and power. And this wealth and power of the ruling class is truly gained on the backs of the poor, what socialists wrongly tell you that all wealth is. Ultimately if we lose the top 1% shown in the video then we truly lose the most innovative and most creative among us, we lose people like Henry Ford, Sam McLaughlin, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and even people like Earl Bakken. Earl is the guy that founded Medtronic where I work. Oh and incidentally if it weren’t for the innovations of Earl Bakken and his company Medtronic not only would many tens of thousands of people like me not have a means to provide for our families but also many lives would have been much shorter on this earth, among their loved ones due to the lack of Earl’s and Medtronic’s medical breakthroughs. But unfortunately many people just see Earl as some rich fat cat living it up in Hawaii.
The makers of this video above should have ultimately been with me and my family last Sunday morning as there was a great sermon at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Joe Rigney, author of Live Like A Narnian (more info on him here: http://bethlehemcollegeandseminary.org/index.php/academics/faculty/joseph-rigney) preached a great sermon titled “Winning the War Against Envy and Rivalry” When that sermon is available online I may post it on my blog, it was that good. I truly think that when socialists decry the injustice of economics I think that this is all due to the dangerous sin of envy on their part, and all the sins that go along with envy (You would know what I am talking about if you were to just listen to that sermon. That was a great sermon, by the way, among many things we learned the subtle yet important differences between jealousy, covetousness and envy–but I digress again).
We all also must realize that everything ultimately is not our own. Everything we have is on loan from the Master, the God of the universe. An important lesson from the Parable of the Bags of Gold and other parables, namely the “Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard,” and also many other passages in the Bible (see other parts of Matthew about the Widow’s Offering or the passage about not letting you left hand know what your right one is doing), anyway one important lesson is that we must not worry about who has what, or how much that person has or how little I have or how much more that person earns and in general how unfair life is. Everyone must realize that in real life, just like in the parables that the Master is coming back soon and each of us must give an account of what we did with our horde, our time and resources, lets not waste our lives, or our horde, in the envy of others.

A pro-choice reporter who has been present in the courtroom listening to testimony in the Gosnell trial has changed his mind on abortion, according to one of his fellow reporters.
“That’s the power of the Gosnell trial,” reporter JD Mullane told former Gov. Mike Huckabee during a recent appearance on the Huckabee Show.
Mullane, a pro-life columnist for the Bucks County Courier Times, has been present in the courtroom from the very beginning of the Gosnell trial. His regularly-updated Twitter account has become the go-to place for breaking updates on the case.
“There is one journalist sitting in that courtroom who writes for a local publication who has told me that he is very liberal, very pro-choice,” Mullane told Huckabee, “but after sitting through the testimony in the Gosnell trial, he’s reconsidered. He’s changed his mind.”
Testimony in the case has featured former employees of Gosnell describing how “hundreds” of babies, many of them past viability, were born alive in the clinic only to have their spinal cords snipped by Gosnell or one of his assistants. Employees described babies moving, breathing, screaming, and even “swimming” in a toilet after being born alive.
My friends, this is really important!! Maybe you have already heard about Dr. Ben Carlson and his amazing and courageous speech in front of President Obama at the Prayer Breakfast last Friday. This event has made many headlines. But whether you have or have not heard about this, it still bears repeating many times.
As you may know, according to my political views—well you know my political views if you have perused this blog at all—I am very partisan; I definitely feel that those that are currently in power in our nation, and their ilk, and there ideas are currently the reasons for the bulk of the problems with our nation today. But, stay with me now, Dr. Carson, WITHOUT BEING particularly PARTISAN has really spoken TRUTH at this Prayer Breakfast please see these videos below.
I know this one above is almost a half an hour. If you are pressed for time at this moment start at 17:50, but be sure to come back later. Near the beginning Dr. Carson talks very succinctly about the problems with Political Correctness. So you will have missed that if you are in a hurry and take my advice. But I really feel that the essence of his message starts at 17:50. Also just like Eric Metaxas did last year Dr. Carson appropriately mixes humor throughout his speech. (see my post about Eric Metaxas by clicking here)
This man, Dr Ben Carson has an amazing story. Cuba Gooding Jr. played Dr. Ben Carson in a movie detailing his remarkable life story, click here for that movie. Below is a picture of him receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush in 2008. This is the highest civilian award in the United States.
Below is another must see video 🙂 which is an interview where he talks about why he felt led to give that speech at the Prayer Breakfast. My hope is that you will watch this video as well as the one above in its entirety. Also my hope is that you will feel compelled to share this post with others.
Let’s get our brains back on people…
