Cannes: Video of Hollywood Environmentalists in Anti-Fracking Sting Operation to Debut (Exclusive Video)

More ASTOUNDING BLATANT HYPOCRISY among environmentalists and the Hollywood left #StrangerThanFiction George Orwell would be proud to write this story except its REAL. Where is the outrage?

Fracking Screen Grab - H 2014

James O’Keefe says he duped Ed Begley Jr. and Mariel Hemingway into agreeing to get involved with an anti-fracking movie while hiding that its funding comes from Middle Eastern oil interests.

Journalist James O’Keefe, known for his controversial undercover sting operations aimed usually at liberals — is set to unveil at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday the first of a group of videos that he says will reveal hypocrisy among Hollywood environmentalists.

In the video, obtained exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter and embedded below, actors Ed Begley Jr. and Mariel Hemingway are duped by a man named “Muhammad,” who is looking to make an anti-fracking movie while hiding that its funding is coming from Middle Eastern oil interests.

Muhammad, accompanied by a man pretending to be an ad executive, seemingly has the two actors agreeing to participate in the scheme, even after he acknowledges…

UNINSTALL FIREFOX!!

April 11, 2014 3 comments

Spread the word! Uninstall Firefox. Go with Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, Opera or anything but Mozilla Firefox. Boycott Firefox.

.

Do this, but not solely for the reasons that you might think that I am saying this. Delete Firefox to preserve liberty and to preserve tolerance. I am talking about the true sense of the true meaning of the word “tolerance.” The loony left have hijacked and changed the meaning of that word, just as Orwellian leftists have done to other words in the past. It’s what they do. It’s why I call them Orwellian. Actually, before I go on, I think Dennis Prager said everything else I wanted to say best, and with superior clarity on this subject in this article that he wrote last Tuesday.

Uninstall Firefox

.

In 31 years of broadcasting, and 40 years of writing, I have never advocated a boycott of a product.

Quite the opposite, in fact.

During the 2012 presidential campaign, when the left attempted to destroy Chick-Fil-A for its owner’s views on same-sex marriage, I suggested on my radio show that the Republican candidate, Mitt Romney, stand in front of a Chick-Fil-A restaurant while enjoying some Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. In that way, I argued, he could show one of the great moral differences between the right and the left. Though Ben and Jerry are leftists, we conservatives do not believe that company owners’ views should matter to consumers. We believe that products should speak for themselves. If the ice cream is good, despite whatever repugnance we might feel regarding the views of the makers of that ice cream, we will still purchase it.

The left does not see things that way. The left is out to crush individuals and companies with whom it differs. This is especially so today on the issue of same-sex marriage.

Perhaps the most dramatic example of this took place last week. The governing board of the widely used browser, Firefox, forced the company’s CEO, Brendan Eich, to resign. The Firefox board had learned that in 2008, Eich donated $1,000 to the Proposition 8 campaign in California. Proposition 8 amended the California Constitution to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman. In classic Communist fashion, gay rights organizations demanded that Eich publicly recant. When Eich did not, gay rights and other leftist organizations called for a boycott of Firefox. Firefox immediately forced Eich out.

All these years, the left, after coining the term “McCarthyism” in order to disparage the right, had fooled most people into believing that it is the right that suppresses liberty. The truth, of course, has been the opposite. Worldwide, with the exception of Nazi Germany (which was a uniquely race-based totalitarianism, neither left nor right — while it rejected Marxist class-based struggle, it supported socialism (“Nazism” was short for National Socialism), every genocidal totalitarian regime of the 20th century was leftist. And domestically, too, the left has much less interest in liberty than in forcing people to act in accord with its values. A totalitarian streak is part of the left’s DNA. How you think matters and what you do away outside of work matters: More than 20 states prohibit judges from being leaders in the Boy Scouts — because the left deems the Boy Scouts homophobic.

During the McCarthy era, the left (and not only the left) screamed when people were falsely charged with supporting Stalin and Communism, one of the greatest evils in human history. But the left also screamed when people who really did aid and abet Stalin were dismissed from their jobs. In other words, for those on the left who celebrate Eich’s ouster, it was evil to deprive a man who supported Stalin of a job, but it is right to fire a man who supports the man-woman definition of marriage. Such is the left’s moral compass.

It is important to further note that gay employees at Firefox acknowledge that Eich never discriminated against gays, whether in employment, benefits or any other way. But that doesn’t matter to the left because a totalitarian streak is part of the left’s DNA.

As Princeton Professor of Jurisprudence Robert George warned on my radio show, today the left fires employees for opposition to same-sex marriage. Tomorrow it will fire employees who are pro-life (“anti-woman”). And next it will be employees who support Israel (an “apartheid state”).

The reason to boycott Firefox is not that it is run by leftists. Nor is the reason to support the man-woman definition of marriage. It is solely in order to preserve liberty in the land of liberty. If Firefox doesn’t recant and rehire Eich as CEO, McCarthyism will have returned far more pervasively and perniciously than in its first incarnation. The message the gay left (such as the Orwellian-named Human Rights Campaign) and the left in general wish to send is that Americans who are in positions of power at any company should be forced to resign if they hold a position that the left strongly opposes…

I Ain’t Drinkin’ the Purple Kool-Aid!

March 16, 2014 Leave a comment

Why is it that most people are drinking the purple Kool-Aid when Al Gore declares there is a “scientific consensus” regarding Global warmi…I mean Climate Cha…sorry, make that Polar Vortex!

[I feel the need to add these parenthetical paragraphs because I am not sure if everyone understands the reference to “drinking the purple Kool-Aid.” From UrbanDictionary.com: “A reference to the 1978 cult mass-suicide in Jonestown, Guyana. Jim Jones, the leader of the group, convinced his followers to move to Jonestown. Late in the year he then ordered his flock to commit suicide by drinking grape-flavored Kool-Aid laced with potassium cyanide. In what is now commonly called “the Jonestown Massacre”, 913 of the 1100 Jonestown residents drank the Kool-Aid and died.

One lasting legacy of the Jonestown tragedy is the saying, “Don’t drink the Kool-Aid.” This has come to mean, “Don’t trust any group you find to be a little on the kooky side.” or “Whatever they tell you, don’t believe it too strongly”.The phrase can also be used in the opposite sense to indicate that one has embraced a particular philosophy or perspective.
Alice: Hey, did you hear that Joe is working on the Nader campaign?
Bob: Yeah, he really drank the Kool-Aid on that one. Chris: I’m thinking about attending a PETA rally
Donna: Whatever you do, don’t drink the Kool-Aid!]…

Why is it that most people are drinking the purple Kool-Aid when Obama said his plan would guarantee that fewer people will be without health insurance and that health insurance costs for everyone will be lower when in reality the direct opposite on both points has occurred. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/study-insurance-costs-to-soar-under-obamacare/

Why is it that most people are drinking the purple Kool-Aid when Obama said on July 18, 2009, “…Under our proposals, if you like your doctor, you keep your doctor. If you like your current insurance, you keep that insurance. Period, end of story.”

Why is it that most people are drinking the purple Kool-Aid when Darwin’s Theory of Evolution is accepted more and more as scientific fact, rather than theory when Darwin himself declared: “To suppose that the eye, with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree…” see: http://willemdax.tumblr.com/post/59518695106/evolution-vs-god-by-thewayofthemaster-prepare

Why is it that most people are drinking the purple Kool-Aid when it comes to accepting that abortion is not really the murdering or killing of a human being. see: http://willemdax.tumblr.com/post/29573770079/180-movie-by-thewayofthemaster-what-changed

Why is it that most people are drinking the purple Kool-Aid when it comes to the acceptance of same sex relationships and even same sex marriage. Have we really thought this through…? This is the slipperiest slope of all time “…with the public endorsement of same-sex relationships, the endorsement (or at least acceptance) of consensual, adult, incestuous relationships is the next step. Consider the following…” https://willemdax.wordpress.com/2012/11/01/the-slipperiest-slope-of-all-time/

And finally, Why is it that most people are drinking the purple Kool-Aid when it comes to general acceptance that society is just becoming more and more complicated and that therefore we need to have ever-growing governments and more and more government laws and programs and higher and higher taxes so that government can take care of this so complex of a modern society that we live in…freedom be damned…

“A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.” ― Thomas Jefferson

P.S. Why is it that most people enjoy story-telling from the likes of George Orwell (1984, Animal Farm) in the past and now today, Suzanne Collins (The Hunger Games) yet no ones seems to be learning the lessons from these great stories.

Latest Jack Ryan movie, Shadow Recruit, sadly reminds me too much of reality.

Jack-Ryan-Shadow-Recruit2-586x391

SPOILER ALERT, I thought I would get that out first lest you hate me for revealing too much, but I don’t think I really give a way enough to spoil anything. This is not necessarily a review of this movie but this post is more or less about the thoughts that I had during and after watching this movie.

First of all I was not planning to go and watch any movie at all but at my eldest son’s insistence, and my wife’s insistence that our 15-year-old and his Daddy have a little one-on-one Daddy-time, we decided to spend part of our Martin Luther King Jr day off from work and school watching this thriller. Turns out I really did enjoy the film, we both did, another reboot and re-imagining origin story about the characters that Tom Clancy first created years ago. Plus I really enjoy all of the actors in their past roles and now in this movie too.

Briefly, the premise of the movie is that it is about an ultra-secret plot within the Russian Government to undermine and destroy the US economy to create a devastating and worse second Great Depression. This is the world of this spy-thriller fiction, but, compare that with the fact that in reality there is an ultra-secret plot within the American Government to undermine and destroy the US economy, namely in the real-life person of evil, socialist, multi-billionaire, George Soros and his backing, especially financial backing, of the current President and the current radicalized Democrat party. The only reason it is ultra-secret in real life is because the main-stream media is merely an extension of the current radicalized Democrat party.

The actions of the current leaders shows that there is a plot to destroy the American economy. Due to the current actions of our current leaders we have the slowest job creation since the Great Depression, a number of failed stimulus packages, the highest sustained energy prices ever, the over regulating of business, the never-ending over spending, the failed Affordable Care Act or Obamacare, and a failing economy overall. Simply look at the fact that this current administration has acquired more debt than all previous presidents COMBINED. During the upcoming state of union address President Obama will not surprisingly do very little more other than continue to propose more spending and more economy-killing tax hikes.

Kenneth Branagh’s character, financial mogul, Viktor Cherevin, reminded of real-life, financial mogul, George Soros.

Shoot, my social media clout is so great that I probably just spoiled any of the Oscar award hopes that this movie ever had. 😀

Bear with me but I wanted to update this post and include a horrifying excerpt from Soros: Republic Enemy #1http://web.archive.org/web/20101027070859/http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/14700

Remember this is Obama’s and the Democrats’ most fervent backer, including financial backer, and is embraced, albeit somewhat secretly, by the current US political leaders:

“The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States.”—George Soros…György Schwartz, better known to the world as George Soros, was born August 12, 1930 in Hungary…The Schwartz’s, who were non-practicing Jews, changed the family name to Soros, in order to facilitate assimilation into the gentile population, as the Nazis spread into Hungary during the 1930s.  Soros is an Esperanto word meaning “to soar.”

In 1944 Hitler’s henchman Adolf Eichmann arrived in Hungary, to oversee the murder of that country’s Jews.  The Soros children were all given fake identity papers, and were shipped out to various Christian families.  George Soros ended up with a man whose job was confiscating property from the Jewish population.  Soros went with him on his rounds.

Soros has repeatedly called 1944 “the best year of his life.”

In an article in the Wall Street Journal, Joshua Muravchik notes that, “70% of Mr. Soros’s fellow Jews in Hungary, nearly a half-million human beings, were annihilated in that year. They were dying and disappearing all around him, and their numbers no doubt included many whom he knew personally. Yet he gives no sign that this put any damper on his elation, either at the time or indeed in retrospect.”

During an interview with “Sixty Minute’s” Steve Kroft, Soros was asked about his “best year:”

Sweetness & Light

KROFT: My understanding is that you went out with this protector of yours who
swore that you were his adopted godson.

SOROS: Yes. Yes.

KROFT: Went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews.

SOROS: Yes. That’s right. Yes.

KROFT: I mean, that sounds like an experience that would send lots of people to the
psychiatric couch for many, many years. Was it difficult?

SOROS: Not, not at all.  Not at all.

KROFT: No feeling of guilt?

SOROS: No.

Of course he didn’t feel guilty.  Soros has the moral depth of a clam.  Nonetheless, he has said, “my goal is to become the conscience of the world.”

The blunt truth about greed and freedom that was delivered over 30 years ago

January 15, 2014 Leave a comment

This is really poignant interview that occurred decades ago but today we seem to be losing the wisdom here of Milton Friedman or of the founding fathers for that matter… Originally posted on TheBlaze.com on Tuesday, Jan 14, 2014 at 1:19 PM CST

On radio this morning, Glenn played a portion of a 1979 interview between Phil Donahue and Milton Friedman, in which Friedman offered a very well-articulated argument in favor of minimizing the role of government in a free market system as a means of creating political and social freedom. It is Friedman’s eloquent delivery of what could be considered a complex theme that Glenn was most concerned with.

“[We have to be] more than alert and knowledgeable,” Glenn said. “We have to be able to explain to our fellow citizens what raises our eyebrows, what makes us even more alert, and what we have found in our knowledge… Milton Friedman did a great segment on the Donohue show years ago on greed. Listen to what he said.”

Watch Friedman and Donahue debate the power of greed:

“That is a beat-down of everything that’s being said right now,” Glenn said. “[But] nobody is articulating it that way. He asks the question: Where in the world does greed not rule?”

What makes Friedman’s delivery so unique is his ability to discuss harsh realities, while holding fast to his principles. Considering the lack of honesty in our world today, Glenn questioned why Friedman is often characterized as a villain.

“Nobody is talking about real world stuff. Nobody is saying the truths that need to be spoken. He spoke truth,” Glenn concluded. “It was clear. It wasn’t about politics. It was about basic principles. Milton Friedman should be the most popular guy on every campus because this guy is talking truth…”

Why Dr. Carson Moved So Many

February 14, 2013 Leave a comment

Rush Limbaugh Show, February 12, 2013

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH:  Let’s grab Honey in Glendale, Arizona.  Hi.  Great to have you on the EIB Network.  Hello.

CALLER:  Hello, Rush.  Dittos from a retired Navy nurse.

RUSH:  Well, thank you very much.  Great to have you here.

CALLER:  This is such an honor. I just wanted to comment, earlier you said that Dr. Carson, something about him quitting his practice and going to reach out to the low-information voters, or low-information people.  I think he’s been listening to you because that’s exactly what you think that we need to do.  Get a hold of them, educate them, and then they will come up to understand what’s really going on.

RUSH:  Well, that’s very nice of you to say about me.  I frankly think Dr. Carson is probably too busy to listen to me or anybody else in the media.  After all, he’s a neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins.  But nevertheless, he’s not specifically saying he’s going to, but he’s not ruling out speculation he could run for office.

CALLER:  Well, that’s the first thing I thought of, he needs to run for president.  I was so moved by his speech. I had my husband, my ninth grade daughter, my seventh grade son, sit down and listen to that speech because I was so moved by it.

RUSH:  What was it that moved you?  No wrong answer.  Just curious.  What was it that moved you?

CALLER:  It was that he was standing up and speaking the truth and not afraid to do it when Obama was sitting right there, and this is really getting down to the heart of how our country needs to change.  And we start by education.  And I think that was his biggest thing.  And I think we can start like right now, like my kids go to a school that is a charter school.  Most of their teachers graduated from Hillsdale College.  They teach by the Socratic method, they teach critical thinking, and there is no pop culture allowed in the school, and they just teach from the soul of America.  And I agree with you.  I’m optimistic about the future because my kids are learning what they need to learn to be just like Dr. Carson.

RUSH:  A lot of people are.

CALLER:  I’m all for it.

RUSH:  I think a lot more people are being educated the way you describe than is known.  Dr. Carson, with Obama sitting there, said, “Someone has to be courageous enough to stand up to the bullies.”  And by bullies he of course meant Obama and everybody else in the Democrat Party who are systematically destroying and tearing this country apart.  But it was so rational, it was so simple.  That’s why it was so powerful.  It wasn’t complicated with hand-wringing and reaching out and marketing and stuff.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Dr. Benjamin Carson was on with Neil Cavuto yesterday night on the Fox News Channel. Cavuto said, “Many of your critics on the liberal side said you were trying to showboat for an occasion. There were a number of Democratic legislators who said as much. But you argue not so.”

CARSON: No. What we need to do is we need to be able to discuss intelligent ways of solving the multitudinous problems that threaten to destroy our nation. And there are a group of people who would like to silence everybody and have everybody go along to get along, but that’s not going to be very helpful for us in the long run in terms of solving our problems. And somebody has to be courageous enough to actually stand up to the bullies.

RUSH: And why not him, he’s saying. If not me, who? “[S]omebody has to be courageous enough to actually stand up to the bullies.” You notice that all these people say, “It was very inappropriate! You shouldn’t say that at the prayer breakfast with the president.” Why not? That’s the time to say it. If you happen to believe like I do and obviously Dr. Carson does that our country’s being destroyed right before our eyes, and you have a chance to talk to millions of people with the guy who’s doing the destroying right next to you, why not do it? This used to be called “speaking truth to power.” This used to be called courage. This used to be called speaking the truth!

What are we supposed to do now, shrink up and shrivel away and not say a word because the Dear Leader is nearby? That’s exactly what people on the left think we’re supposed to do. “It’s insolence to disagree! It’s insolence to speak up with him sitting there. Who are you? How dare you!” The real question is: Who is he? Here we have a neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins, a man who’s made medicine his life, and somehow he’s not permitted to talk about health care, but a man who’s done nothing but rabble-rouse on the street corners of Chicago is qualified and is permitted? A neurosurgeon we tell, “Sorry, sir, you can’t talk about health care. It’s disrespectful to Barack Obama!”

Barack Obama, who wouldn’t know a Band-Aid from a rubber band, is somehow the expert in health care, and only Obama can fix it, and only Obama can do something about it — and anybody else who speaks up is being disagreeable and inappropriate? Whatever happened to United States freedom of speech and so forth and so on? This is nothing more than statist intimidation what they’re trying here on Dr. Carson. I mean, he’s just a neurosurgeon! He’s just one of the most acclaimed neurosurgeons in the country. What does he know?

What gives him the right to talk about health care? “Why should we listen to him when we have Barack Obama?” who doesn’t know anything about it. So Dr. Carson finds himself in the same place that the man destroying the country is, and he’s not supposed to speak up about it? Cavuto said, “You’re an accomplished, well-respected, internationally renowned doctor. You head one of the most prestigious departments in all of medicine at one of the most prestigious schools in all of medicine. Why did you take it upon yourself to go beyond just medical policy and talk about tax policy? What were you getting at, doc?”

CARSON: Five physicians signed the Declaration of Independence and were involved in the framing of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and several other things. There’s absolutely no reason at all that physicians, scientists shouldn’t be involved in things that affect all of us. We’re people who’ve learned how to make decisions based on facts, empirical data rather than on ideology. And one of the geniuses, one of the real things that made us a great nation, is that we brought people from all backgrounds into the legislative process so that all of us would be able to place our interests there, and we’ve gone significantly away from that.

RUSH: Now, Cavuto is playing devil’s advocate. But he said (paraphrased), “Okay, look, you’re a doctor. What the hell you doing talk about tax policy?” Why not? He’s a citizen. This is like I’ve been told all my life: “You didn’t serve in Vietnam. You don’t get to talk about the defense budget.” I’ve been told this all my life, and all it is is the left attempting to silence opposition, to intimidate people into shutting up. Because the left cannot handle opposition. Particularly on ideas. They know they lose. They’re gonna find it very difficult to demonize Ben Carson, but they will try. You watch. He’s now in the crosshairs.

The Obama campaign team is gonna get into gear if this guy keeps talking, and they’re gonna try to find ways to smear him and ruin his life and do to him what they did to Romney. That’s all they can do. They can’t beat him in the arena of ideas. (summarized) “Look, five physicians signed a Declaration of Independence.” There were 56 people who signed the Declaration. Five of them were doctors. What did they know about independence, Neil?” But even the nature of the question is troubling. You’re a doctor. What are you speaking out to tax policy for? Well, you know, I’m just a guy on the radio. I talk about everything. So? Am I only allowed to talk about radio things here? That is the implication of the question. So next, Cavuto said, “I want to focus on the reaction from the president as you were making your remarks. Did you know or did you suspect what you were saying was going to gibe him a little bit?”

CARSON: There’s no question that, uh, he has advocated basically a policy of tax the rich, and I have advocated a policy that comes from the Bible, which is a very fair policy of proportional taxation. If it was good enough for God, why wouldn’t it be good enough for us? The minute you deviate away from that, you begin to get into all kinds of biases, and one could legitimately make the argument that the rich pay too many taxes. The top 1% pays 37% of the taxes. The top 5%, 59% of the taxes. But they don’t make that much of an income. One could make that argument. It depends on your philosophical disposition, which argument you’re gonna make. But you take those arguments away as soon as you go to a proportional tax. I believe that’s the reason God did it.

RUSH:  Whoa.  Whoa.  That’s the reason God did it.  No, no, no.  What do you mean?  Obama didn’t do that.  What do you mean, that’s the way God did it?  And the left and their appointed talkmeisters, the Beckels and the Scarboroughs, “Who the hell does this guy think he is?” Chris Matthews, “Who the hell does this guy think he is?”  I guess these guys would all bow down in total acquiescence to Obama, the king, on his way to dictatorship.  And that’s okay, that’s fine, there’s no problem with that?  King gets to set tax policy.  King gets to write whatever we’re gonna do on guns.  King gets to say when we dealt with the debt.  The king gets to say, “We don’t have a spending problem; we got a pay-for-it problem.”  The king gets to say, “We don’t have a spending problem; we got a budget deficit problem.”  The king gets to say, “Don’t ask me any more about Benghazi.  I’ve answered everything.  There isn’t anything else.  It was the guy with the video.”  And we go, “Okay, whatever king says is it.”  Carson goes on to say that he’s gonna retire from surgery later this year and then try to combat the problem of low-information voters.

CARSON:  I’m actually gonna retire in June from surgery.  I will still teach, I will still be involved, but I gonna retire from surgery.  So it does open up a lot of possibilities for me.  I’m very focused on education and getting the populace back towhere it used to be back in 1831 when Alexis de Tocqueville came here and was so impressed, because an uneducated populace will fall for anything, and if you go and you talk to most people, they mean well, but they don’t have much of a breadth of education, of knowledge, of understanding what the real issues are, and therefore they listen to pundits on television who tell them what they’re supposed to think and they keep repeating that and pretty soon they say, “Oh, well, that must be true.”

RUSH:  That’s the definition of the low-information voter.  That’s Dr. Benjamin Carson from the Johns Hopkins hospital, director pediatric neurosurgery, which means he saves the children.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH:  Here’s another thing about Dr. Carson that we were talking about yesterday.  There are doers and people who don’t do.  They just sit outside the arena and offer expertise, commentary, criticism, but they don’t do diddly-squat.  He’s a doer.  He is in the arena doing.  He is practicing health care.  And because he is intimately involved in it, he knows better than most what to do to repair it because he knows what’s wrong with it, and he knows full well that Obama has no clue what he’s talking about because Obama’s not even talking about health care.  Obama is simply expanding an ideology.  Obama is simply coming up with a way to build and grow government, and using health care as his way.

And of course journalists who also don’t know anything, don’t know how to deal with Benjamin Carson.  He doesn’t fit the template.  He doesn’t compute.  They don’t know what to do with a guy like this.  So they’re gonna have to figure out a way to cancel him out.  He’s certainly not on their side.  But I think he’s obviously prepared and equipped to deal whatever comes his way.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH:  So Bob Beckel on The Five yesterday talking about Dr. Benjamin Carson, who operates on the brains of babies, Dr. Benjamin Carson, who actually saves the lives of little babies, Bob Beckel said (paraphrasing), “He just wants his 15 minutes of fame, make a million dollars when he leaves surgery.”  Beckel said that Ben Carson offers nothing but extreme right-wing talking points.

Ben Carson is a self-made man from Detroit.  The media didn’t make him; they can’t destroy him.  He’s got an amazing story, from Detroit, where he came from.

SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER!! —“I don’t know where we left our brains…?!”

February 12, 2013 Leave a comment

My friends, this is really important!! Maybe you have already heard about Dr. Ben Carlson and his amazing and courageous speech in front of President Obama at the Prayer Breakfast last Friday. This event has made many headlines. But whether you have or have not heard about this, it still bears repeating many times.

As you may know, according to my political views—well you know my political views if you have perused this blog at all—I am very partisan; I definitely feel that those that are currently in power in our nation, and their ilk, and there ideas are currently the reasons for the bulk of the problems with our nation today. But, stay with me now, Dr. Carson, WITHOUT BEING particularly PARTISAN has really spoken TRUTH at this Prayer Breakfast please see these videos below.

I know this one above is almost a half an hour. If you are pressed for time at this moment start at 17:50, but be sure to come back later. Near the beginning Dr. Carson talks very succinctly about the problems with Political Correctness. So you will have missed that if you are in a hurry and take my advice. But I really feel that the essence of his message starts at 17:50. Also just like Eric Metaxas did last year Dr. Carson appropriately mixes humor throughout his speech. (see my post about Eric Metaxas by clicking here)

This man, Dr Ben Carson has an amazing story. Cuba Gooding Jr. played Dr. Ben Carson in a movie detailing his remarkable life story, click here for that movie. Below is a picture of him receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush in 2008. This is the highest civilian award in the United States.

Below is another must see video 🙂 which is an interview where he talks about why he felt led to give that speech at the Prayer Breakfast. My hope is that you will watch this video as well as the one above in its entirety. Also my hope is that you will feel compelled to share this post with others.
